Traveling to San Antonio for Reconstructive Breast Surgery

We routinely cater to patients traveling to San Antonio for their reconstructive breast surgery. We will be pleased to help you with any arrangements in terms of travel and lodging. We do ask that patients coming from out-of-state arrive at least 24 hours before their scheduled surgery. Patients that have been immobile during a flight or very long drive are at increased risk of suffering a blood clot after surgery. This increased risk goes away if at least 24 hours have passed since the trip.

Our office has also partnered with Remington Medical Resorts to offer luxurious accommodations with 24 hour nursing care. Remington Medical Resort provides our out-of-state patients with transportation to and from the airport, hospital, and physician's office. The private suites all include Wi-Fi and flat-screen televisions. Patients and their families are delighted with chef prepared a la carte meals.
